The Alpha Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega was founded in the Fall of 2006. We volunteer with local organizations such as the YMCA, the YWCA, Lime Hollow Nature Center, the LGBT Center, CNY SNAP, Relay for Life, and more throughout the semester.
In addition to community service we participate in fellowship. Our fellowship events consist of a group of our brothers getting together to do exciting activities such as hiking, bowling, going to the movies, apple picking, going out to eat and many more.
Alpha Phi Omega offers a variety of leadership activities. We have an executive board with both full year and semester long positions available. We also have mini-positions, which gives many of our brothers the opportunity to create and hold service events with our network of contacts. Members also have the ability to make their own mini-position for organizations and causes that they are passionate about.
